Saying of the week...

Hello! Sorry this post is so late. We went on a weekend trip, and I am working on a post about it. It's so long, so I thought I'd put the saying of the week and the Bible verse in a different post.

Saying of the week:

Bible verse of the week: Romans 8:35-37
"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."
I really like those verses. It's such a comforting thought to know that none of the things Paul mentions can ever separate us from God's love.

Song of the week: 4th verse of "O To Be Like Thee"
O to be like Thee! Lord, I am coming,
Now to receive th’ anointing divine;
All that I am and have I am bringing;
Lord, from this moment all shall be Thine.

 O to be like Thee! O to be like Thee,
 Blessed Redeemer, pure as Thou art;
Come in Thy sweetness, come in Thy fullness;
Stamp Thine own image deep on my heart.

Have a wonderful, godly week everyone!!
Keep trusting the Lord in everything and for everything!
Love,

Ashley
