Blessings Upon Blessings

Happy many - days - after -Thanksgiving friend!
I had the intention of posting on Thanksgiving day but got busy and didn't make time to write. Better late than never though, right? Happy December.😅No matter how you spent this past holiday, I hope you reflected on the blessings from the hand of our good God. How has he blessed you this year? Maybe he did some unexpected things in your life or provided for you in ways you wouldn't have ever planned. God knows what each one of us need. Even trials or heartache can be seen as a blessing because maybe someone needs to grow through it and God can use the fire to try his/her faith to make it more precious and firm.
All I have needed thy hand hath provided. Great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me.
God feeds the birds, provides them with space to live; how much more does he care for those who trust in him. God provides for our needs. Not always for things we want. And sometimes the things we need are not the things we want, but in fact they're good for us. They can be opportunities to learn and grow. Maybe you find yourself in a not-so-favorable situation that you don't want to be in anymore, but as of right now there's not a way out. This is a time to work on yourself. Add to your Christian life those necessary virtues: faith in God, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, & charity. Be open-eyed and open-minded to the situation and see what you can learn from it. Also look for the good. The negativity probably will show its face often. Don't focus on it. Focus on blessings. And if you say, "but I don't see any blessings," then friend, you are not looking. God heaps upon our lives blessings and little gifts every day. If you won't find any other blessing, focus on this: God never leaves your side. He holds your hand through every situation. One of my favorite verses that I read every single morning is Isaiah 41:13: "For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee."
