Good morning and a happy Monday to you all!
A few days ago on March 16th, Lauren and Deborah found three tiny baby raccoons by a tree. Their eyes and ears hadn't even opened yet and they were making the cutest little whimpering noises. After feeding them, mamma and the girls took them to the wildlife hospital. Later, after daddy came home, he and Deborah found two more babies, one of which was almost frozen to death. After feeding and warming the babies up with a hair dryer, we put them in a box in the garage on a heating pad. The poor little things had fleas. The next morning, Animal Control came and picked the babies up to take them to the animal hospital. Here are a few pictures of the baby raccoons I thought you would enjoy seeing.
On a different note, today is my sister Lauren's (sweet) 16th birthday! If you'd like, leave her a happy birthday wish in the comments below. :)
Also, today is Free Cone Day at Dairy Queen so if you live by one, stop in for a free cone.

Your story and photos made my morning! Thank you for sharing about these precious little raccoons. Oh how great our Lord is to allow us to see and sometimes care for sweet little creatures like this. I'm so glad you and your family found them! They surely are blessed to have had someone so caring find them and ensure they got to the wildlife hospital.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day! And a very happy birthday to your sister!
Blessings in Christ,
Jazzmin

Hi Ashley :)
Love,
Mrs. Gasser
Wow I wish I had seen this yesterday! I live very near a DQ! :/
ReplyDeleteThe baby racoons are adorable. It's amazing how helpless they look at that age compared to the imps they are when full grown!
Also, happy late birthday to your sister!
To everyone. Thank you for the birthday wishes. I had a great birthday.
ReplyDeletePaige, no I wasn't able to get my license. I don't have my permit yet. :)
Love Lauren
Happy Belated Birthday Lauren! And how wonderful that you rescued the raccoon babies and that the wildlife hospital was able to take them and continue to help them. Lots of excitement for sure :)
ReplyDeleteAw, so cute! Happy (very belated) birthday Lauren!
ReplyDeleteAwe...isn't that a sweet story.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you~~
