A Look at February

Psalm 103:1, 5
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things...

This verse sums up February. It was a hard month, but God continually fills life with good things. When things happen and circumstances we don't think are good at the time, God has perfect wisdom and knows what's best.

I've attached several videos in this post so you might just want to click here to view it online.
February 1st was a fun day. I joined some people from church, and we passed out gospel tracts at the flea market. I really like this flea market - they sell many animals including bunnies, chickens, and birds. :)
Vietnamese coffee and dumplings from a favorite restaurant.
I stopped by this new park to walk, but it's mainly a popular fishing spot.
Tillie Fowlers State Park is a new one for me.
This trail is literally over the river and through the woods. πŸ˜…So fun! It would be the perfect trail for dirt bike riding or 4-wheeling. Some parts were super muddy or covered with water.

These kids are my heart. How I love them so.
Great reminder. God is good. Always.
Skies of February....
Feb. 4th we took a field trip to an ice hockey game between the Icemen and the Bloomington Bison. The game ended with a tie, but in overtime the Icemen scored one extra point. I enjoyed watching the game very much. It's super competitive. A group of kids from a school for the deaf and blind sang "God Bless America" and did a fabulous job. Here's a video.

I say, smile! They always make other faces. πŸ˜…
Valentine's day boxes
Random school conversations:
Arsema: "I wish Jesus would just come and grab me and take me to heaven so I don't have to die!"
Also her: "How does God use the bathroom?"

Arsema: "I have mommy mode."
Me: "What's that?"
Noah: "You don't want to know. That's where you take care of the house? It's take-care-of-your-mother mode."

Student from another class during lunch: "Is Jesus buff?" πŸ˜„The questions these kids come up with are so interesting.
My little friend and I were on a walk, and he said, "I'm going to find flowers for you." πŸ’•
I've been teaching this little friend and his brother to cook - they're 6 and 8 yrs. old. While cooking one afternoon, 8 yr. old says, "Will you still be alive when I'm 21? Can you still teach me to cook then?" πŸ˜…
And that's a wrap! Leave a comment with something fun you did in February.
