I'm thankful that God has blessed my life with a best friend. I think if you can find a true best friend, he/she will enrich your life in so many ways. Today, March 20th, is my bestie's birthday, so in honor of that, here's 24 things I love about her.
2. She speaks truth. If I sin or am thinking wrongly about something, she'll tell me. It's not unkind, but at the moment it might sting a little. In the end though, I'm glad she told me so I can fix it.
3. She tells me like it is, not like I wish it was. There's a big difference. If a person only tells you what you want to hear, even if it's false, he/she is not a true friend.
4. She challenges me to think through things.
5. She supports and cheers for my dreams.
6. She loves Hotpot and Chinese buffet.
7. We get into laughing mode and we'll laugh until we cry and can't stop.
8. She watches Chinese dramas with me, and we take note of good behavior. 😂
9. She expands my knowledge on all kinds of topics because she's super smart.
10. She doesn't give up in hardships.
11. She takes time to talk to me at least an hour almost every day.
12. She introduces me to her hobbies but doesn't force me into liking them. If I'm interested, she'll teach me more things, which is awesome.
13. She appreciates things from the heart.
14. She sees broken things and either wants to fix them, find a way to help, or encourage someone in the field to take action.
15. She's very open-minded.
17. She researches things for me. 😅If I question something or ask about a definition, she'll look into it.
18. She's a strong woman of many talents.
19. She can laugh in face of adversity.
20. She refuses to stay in a comfort zone. Growth is good!
21. She would choose to either: stay home, cook Asian food and watch a C-drama than go out to a restaurant; OR would pick Chinese buffet or Hotpot over any American restaurant any day.
22. She can hear hard truth without being offended.
23. She doesn't get offended easily.
24. She's honest as the day is long and as loyal as a Belgium Malinois. 🐕😄
