March 29th sister-friend, her son, and I spent the entire afternoon at Wan Shi Mountain which is part of the Xiamen Botanical Garden. (I posted previously about visiting the cacti and rainforest parts.) This mountain is a fantastic hike worth doing over and over. Escalators take hikers most of the way up, and the rest is a breeze. Of course, if you prefer to walk up, there are stairs. Because most of my pictures are of nature, I'll let them give a tour.
We sat on the hill in front of this flower field to stare at its beauty while we ate lunch.
Perfect quiet spot for reflection.
Boys were enjoying chasing the geese and running from them.
I absolutely love God's creation. Viewing all this beauty reminds me of a couple verses.
Psalm 104:24. "O LORD, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches."
Psalm 96:11-12 ~ "Let the heavens rejoice and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice."
