Days 16-22

Hey friends.
I've been really busy and I'm so sorry for being absent for a few days. I got quite behind on posting.
Day 16: An animal you're thankful for.
I'm thankful for our dog Lacy! :D She's so funny...she likes to lay in tight places and boxes. (We call her a box dog. ;)

Day 17: A song you're thankful for.
I'm thankful for the Christmas duet I'm playing with my sister.

Day 18: Something in your house you're thankful for.
I'm thankful for the shoe boxes we've been able to pack  for Samaritans' Purse Operation Christmas Child. They take thousands of shoe boxes (which are filled with gifts such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, crayons, notebooks, stuffed animals, etc.) overseas and give them out to poor children as well as share the gospel with them. There are such amazing stories about how God is working through Samaritan's Purse. Have you heard of Samaritan's Purse? If so, have you ever packed shoeboxes for them?  Click here to get involved.

Day 19-20: A warm and soft object you're thankful for.
I'm thankful for blankets. I've been thinking about this lately, and  you know, we often take for granted small things, like blankets, appliances. etc. God has truly blessed us with those small things that we use every day. Let's not forget to thank Him for the little things.

Day 21: A wooden object you're thankful for.
I'm thankful for the honey dipper I made with daddy. :)

  Day 22: A dessert you're thankful for.
Apple Pie!!!!

What animal, song, dessert, warm object, and wooden object are you thankful for?

Hope you're having a joyful day in the Lord.

Much love and blessings through Christ our Saviour,
~Ashley~

1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

  3. Wow, you made the honey dipper? That is so neat! I'm thankful for our dog as well; a song I'm thankful for would be "The Solid Rock"; a dessert: Pumpkin Pie; something soft and warm: I think I'll agree with you about blankets! :) And a wooden object? Hmm... I think I'll go with my bookshelf. :)
