October 2nd

October 2nd continued as a holiday, so I met up with another sister friend at the subway for a fun day. 

Warm sun and beautiful skies greeted us, and we walked for a while along the beach. 

Many times people will load their bikes up with things to sell and this person was selling all kinds of beach activities for kids.

This is what is called a forest.

Some parts of this city remind me the most of south Florida.

Most parks here have exercise equipment at them which is pretty nice. 

The sky with the water...the whole view is just 😲😍.

After strolling for a while we rode on her electric scooter to the mall to eat lunch. 

Walked through a Walmart...

Then enjoyed lunch at a Japanese restaurant. 

Afterwards we continued walking through the mall and came upon this bookstore.

Outside the mall they have these play areas for kids...

Next we tried shaved ice from this shop. 10/10. I got the mango watermelon one. 

Then we rode the scooter up the mountain a little to do some hiking. It was going to take an hour to walk to the top of this mountain and it was already late in the afternoon, so we just walked partway up and enjoyed the views.

We parted ways at the subway.

On my way home I saw these ducks roasting.
