Jesus Loves Even Me

I am so glad that my Father in heav'n,
Tells of His love in the Book He has giv'n;
Wonderful things in the Bible I see-
This is the dearest, that Jesus loves me.

Tho' I forget Him and wander away, still Jesus loves me where ever I stray:
Back to His dear loving arms would I flee,
When I remember that Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me;
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.

Bible Verse of the week:
Romans 8:32-39
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth: Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I love the song "Jesus Loves Even Me" because it tells us that Jesus loves us so much, even when we wander far away from Him. Then he comes and brings us back to Him, just like a Good Shepherd. I love this verse in Romans, because it to states that, nothing in this whole world, can ever separate us from Christ's love. Praise the Lord for that wonderful promise!! And think about this: God loves imperfect people so much, that He sent His perfect Son to the earth, to die for the sins of the whole world. ( John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. )  That is true love, people. He even loved the people that nailed Him to the cross, and beat a crown of thorns into His head. Another verse just came into my head: 1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.

I am going to leave you with one more verse.
1 John 4:11  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Have a godly week as you think and meditate on these wonderful verses and how much God loves you.
