Prayer Request

Hello everyone,
Please pray for a homeschool family who lost their home and 11 year old son. They lived on a sailboat, and on Sunday, it caught on fire and burned to the ground. The son died and as of yesterday, the parents were in an induced coma in a burn center in Miami. The daughter, Abigail, was at church with some friends when it happened. Please pray that God will comfort Abby and that He will help her parents to recover. To read more about it, click here.
Psalms 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

  4. My neighbor, Dallas and Angie Luce, actually witnessed the boat burning. They told me about it, and then I saw it on the nightly news. I believe it said on the news that the 11 year old boy had autism. Last I heard, they didn't know what caused the boat to catch on fire. I am thankful this couple's daughter was spared by being in church. I am praying the parents make it, and that God gives them peace that passes all understanding. I believe it said on the news broadcast, that a fund had been set up to help this family with burial expenses for the son. If I find out any information on this, Ashley, I will let you know.
    In God's wonderful love,
    Louise R.

  5. Hello, Ashley:

Just a note to say that the Mom and Dad of this young man with Autism, who recently died in a fire on their houseboat, was released from a Miami hospital, this past Wednesday, (9-10-2014), to continue recovering at their new place of residence. They need prayers as they plan for the funeral of their beloved son, and try to get back to some normality in their lives. To lose a child, is something that will always leave a void in the heart, but only God can ease the pain and bring peace, so that life is worth living again.
