Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy New Year Everyone!!!! I can't believe it's already 2015! Time just flew by! I apologize for the extreme lateness of this post. We had a really busy week!
One of the highlights from this week was the Chubby Bunny Challenge that Sarah and Deborah did with me. This is how you do the Chubby Bunny Challenge. One person puts a marshmallow in their mouth and says "Chubby bunny." The next person does the same thing. The goal is to see how many marshmallows you can fit into your mouth and still say "chubby bunny." We video-chatted with Anna, who is a fellow blogger/best pen pal/lover of writing and lover of skittles. This is her blog: Prepare Me To Be A Sanctuary. She did the challenge with her sister. Thank you girls for doing it with us! We had alot of fun!
It's that time of year again when people make new year's resolutions, and I am going to attempt to make a few myself. My resolutions are to:
* Exercise more*
*Read the Bible through with Sarah*
*Finish writing one of my books*
*Learn to crochet hats, gloves, purses, etc...*
*And I would like to obtain at least 1 piano student*
The Saying of the week: Or should I say the saying of the year? I think this will be the saying of the week/saying of the year, because it is so good.
The Bible verse of the week: Romans 8:1-4
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
The Song of the week will be the last stanza and chorus of "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms." I picked the last verse because we don't have to fear the law or condemnation anymore, because we are safe in the everlasting arms of the One who redeemed us.
"What have I to dread,
what have I to fear,
Leaning on the everlasting arms?
I have blessed peace
with my Lord so near,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
Leaning, leaning,
Safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning,
Leaning on the everlasting arms."
Well, I hope ya'll have a fantastic rest of the week!
Have you ever tried the Chubby Bunny Challenge?
