Wuhan, China part 2

 Aug. 8-10, 2026
I walked along East Lake to watch the sun set later Saturday evening. The water was perfect for swimming.
After, I took a taxi to Tan Hualing, an old street with so many stores and street vendors. I found this shop which has great milk tea. 😋
Next morning, Sunday, I went for a long walk and found a new flavor of sparkling water.
Stopped by this market...
and enjoyed this really delicious strong coffee at a cafe shop.
When I arrived back to sister's house, she prepared this breakfast for us.💜
In the subway station.
In the afternoon, sister and I picked up a brother at the mall and headed to church together.
Afterwards, we decided to bike around East Lake so we picked up some food for a picnic and also a hat for sister. :)
Lotus plants. This food is good. You can pick it out of the water, peel, and eat.
Well, we had just barely started out bike ride when brother realized his phone dropped out of his pocket. After searching for a while, sister went to find a security building to report it. We were praying that God would help us. Brother and I stayed together to troubleshoot the situation, but nothing worked. I called my back, my bestie, and she gave me the great idea to text his number. So I sent a message saying the phone was lost and to please call the number. Well sister eventually came back and by this time the daylight had left. We decided to continue on the bike ride. Just as we started biking, my phone rang. Sister answered it and a lady said she found the phone. Turns out she took it 2 kilometers away. We biked to her location and collected the phone.
Dinner
Next day, Monday, I hung out with sister, discussing ideas and plans, then we, along with her coworker and brother from Sunday, had the most marvelous time and conversations over hot pot. This was the first hot pot I've eaten in a restaurant, and the experience was exceptional - mostly because of the company - and also watched a Sichuan face-changing dance.
The last 2 days contained the most unexpected experiences, but they were some of the best. :)
Next morning I flew home. Time to work again.
