Please Pray For My Dear Mommy

Greetings to you!

I have an important prayer request to share with you all. Would you please pray for my dear momma, Cindy? She was recently diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, otherwise known as COPD, and would appreciate all your prayers. Thank you!!! <3

God bless you all.

Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
-Psalm 66:20

  7. Dear Ashley! I am SO sorry to hear this. Please give your sweet Mommy a BIG hug for me, will you? God's got this, and He is far bigger than COPD. There is nothing He cannot do or heal, and we just have to keep our eyes on HIM, not on the affliction. I know that is not an easy thing to do, but may He continually send all of you reminders of His love and that He is in control. Sending much love to all you and will surely be praying. Try not to worry, my friend, and please keep me posted on how she is doing if you can. Email me anytime. Love you.

    1. Dear Mrs. Smith, thank you so much for your love and encouragement. I did give momma a big hug from you. :) Your comment was such an encouragement because sometimes I find myself worrying about mommy's health. And sometimes I am scared. But God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, or love, and of a sound mind. Thank you for reminding me to focus on God, and not on the physical afflictions.
I will keep you updated. Sending you much love..... <3

Thanks also, for your (all of your girls) gracious hospitality on my recent surprise visit while in the Stuart area. I'm back in GA now. :)

  9. Thank you Ashley for posting this and to those who are praying. I know there is power in prayer. I'm waiting to see a pulmonologist to find out more. I am praying for healing but trusting God for whatever the outcome.

  10. I am so sorry to hear this Ashley. You have the sweetest mom ever, and I know she loves the Lord with all her heart. Putting her on my church prayer list, as well as my own personal prayer list. God is in control, and like has already been mentioned, God can heal anything, and I am believing that he will heal your mom. Also, I read up on this, COPD, as I knew nothing about it. Progress is being made daily, in the medicine field, and there is much more hope today, for a favorable outcome of this disease, than there was even a few years ago. "GOD will make a way, when there seems to be no way".... Trust GOD and watch him work!!! PLEASE keep us informed. We care.

  12. Good morning, Ashley! You have been on my mind and I thought I would stop in and visit your blog. I was sorry to read about your mom and wondered how she was feeling.... Please know that I am praying for her, for you, and for your dear family. Also, please know that I am truly sorry for the loss of your pet. Our sweet pets touch a special place in our hearts, don't they. Thinking of you! Hugs!
