Happy Memorial Day // Orange Mango Smoothie

"Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time that men have died to win them." ~ Franklin D. Roosevelt

"Most of them were boys when they died, and they gave up two lives- the one they were living and the one they would have lived. When they died, they gave up their chance to be husbands and fathers and grandfathers. They gave up their chance to be revered old men. They gave up everything for our country, for us. And all we can do is remember."
~ Ronald Reagan

I hope you all have a wonderful day as we remember those who have fought and died for the freedoms Americans enjoy today.

We had a fun day listening to patriotic music, and celebrating with family. Here is a delicious drink recipe I made today I wanted to share. It is called....

Orange Mango Smoothi

What You Will Need:
✶Mangos
Water
Orange juice
Bananas
Ice (optional)

Directions:

Peel and purée the mangos, and add a small amount of water to make the juice a little thinner. Add about 3/4 part mango in a blender and the rest orange juice. Blend the mango purée, orange juice, and banana(s) together. Add bananas to your liking. Cool in the refrigerator for a few hours or serve over ice. And there you have it!  This is a super easy drink to make, and you can easily modify it to make a large or small amount.

(I didn't measure anything, but I made this drink for our party, and I used 3 bananas for each blender full, 6 bananas altogether. Of course if you would only like one or two servings, I would use 1 banana, 1 mango, and orange juice to your liking.)

Did you celebrate Memorial Day in a special way? I would love to hear about it in the comments!
