Death Vision Board

The ultimate retirement plan has no retirement age. 

We can die young and we can die old. 😅

Many people have a vision board.
They make ones about:
Career goals.
Dream house.
Marriage plans.
Travel destinations.

How interesting, you don't find many inspirational pictures for a death vision board. 🤔 But the ultimate dream requires you to stop breathing first.

Many Christians live life forgetting where they're going. Earth isn't home.

Heaven is. 

And what could be more glorious than going home? No more sin getting in the way of loving God perfectly. No more distractions. No more distance between us and the amazing God we've spent our lives learning to know and love. And we'll finally get to see the one we've been longing for. 🤍

God and God alone

Will be the joy of our eternal home.

He will be our one desire.

Our hearts will never tire

Of God and God alone.

People make vision boards for weddings, but even the most beautiful marriage on earth is temporary. 

People make vision boards for careers, but they eventually retire. 

People make vision boards for travel, but eventually every trip ends. 

People make vision boards for the life they want, but the Bible tells us we're looking for a "city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God."

This life is beautiful in many ways. There are people to love, places to see, memories to make, and things to do for God.

But we're still pilgrims just passing through.

“For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.” ~ Hebrews 13:14

One day faith will become sight. 

And we'll be finally home.
