I'm Thankful For...A Field Trip ~~~~ Day 2

I'm Thankful For...the field trip to Kennedy Space Center.
Yesterday, we girls went on a field trip to the Kennedy Space Center
with our homeschool group. Unfortunately, my dear mommy wasn't able to
go, as she is sick with a horrible cough. If you think of her, please
pray she'll get over it soon.   A few things have changed  since
we last visited in either 2011, 2012, or 2013.  The Lord provided such a
beautiful day for us to enjoy. Enjoy a look at our day through these pictures.  :)

This is the real Atlantis space shuttle, featured in the Atlantis Museum.
Late in the afternoon, we had the opportunity to meet Apollo 15
Astronaut Al Worden. He was the Command Module Pilot for the
Apollo 15 lunar mission in 1971. He is one of  24 people to have flown to the Moon.
Al Worden was the first one to perform a deep space walk.

When designing their logo, Scott, Worden, and Irwin were told their
logo couldn't have any roman numerals on it-only numbers. Well, they
sneaked a couple roman numerals on there anyway. Do you spot the
X and V in the picture?

This is the "Astrovan" that carried the Astronauts to the launch pad.
This is what the earth looks like at night from space, illuminated
by electric lights.
And all these green dots on the earth you see, those are airplanes.
 Job 26:7
"He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the
earth upon nothing.

Learning about space and this special planet God has placed us all on reminded me
of his amazing power, and his tender love that he has for mankind. The heavens
truly do declare the glory and awesomeness of our Creator.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
